LMNT Electrolytes | Paleo-Keto Friendly Hydration | Zero Sugar Premium Electrolyte Drink Mix
New research suggests many people –especially athletes and those following paleo, keto, or low-carb diets– are actually under-salted. As athletes, we already have proper hydration on our radar. Most of us know that to stay properly hydrated and plain H2O just won’t cut it.
Working out in the heat adds to the need to replace lost electrolytes, especially salts.
Of course, there are a number of electrolyte products filling the gap – some quite terrible and loaded with sugar, toxic dyes, and other junk you don't need. Then there are others that don’t have the sugar and other crap but they taste downright nasty.
There are few that do it right. LMNT is at the top of the list.
What most of the popular electrolyte drinks on the market do wrong is include too low amounts of electrolytes and miss the mark on the “optimal ratio”.
LMNT Recharge gives you more electrolytes in the ideal ratio:
-
1000 mg
SODIUM -
200 mg
POTASSIUM -
60 mg
MAGNESIUM
Pioneered by Robb Wolf (biochemist and 2X New York Times/WSJ Best Selling author of The Paleo Solution and Wired To Eat), LMNT has taken the latest science and formulated an electrolyte mix that hits all the right salty notes in what the body actually needs.
The real question is...
What flavor to choose? With seven different deliciously salty flavors, it can be hard to decide.
Citrus and Orange Salt are favorites. Citrus salt tastes a little like a margarita, without the tequila.
Chocolate salt is quite yummy too and makes a great addition to your morning or afternoon coffee.
Give Mango Chile or Lemon Habanero a try. Interesting and tasty flavors with a hint of heat
Approximately 7-10% of the world's population suffers from sodium sensitivity. For those individuals, or those with fluid retention issues on the whole, additional sodium is generally not recommended, and our product is therefore not likely to be a good fit. However, approximately 90-93% of the world's population experiences no rise or only a modest, temporary increase in blood pressure. Those that try it tend to report the effects of higher-sodium electrolyte supplementation as "very positive," overall. If you have any medical conditions which necessitate the consumption of a low-sodium diet, using a high-dose electrolyte supplement is not recommended. If you experience adverse symptoms or effects such as nausea, bloating, stomach pains, diarrhea or vomiting when trying LMNT, cease use of the product. Note the quantity of water you use to dilute LMNT, the timeframe for drinking it (e.g. sipping it over the course of an hour vs. chugging it in a few mins), and any other new activities or dietary tinkering might have an impact on your experience of LMNT.
